I'm getting an E1 message.Updated 2 years ago

The cause of this can be determined by the behavior of the treadmill, specifically the running belt, before the E1 error occurred. These are without you walking on the belt:

•        The running belt moves for more than about 6 seconds: your running belt needs some silicone lubrication between it and the running deck. See the “Lubricating Your Treadmill Running Belt” section.

•        The running belt runs for only about 6 seconds: this is a problem with the treadmill speed sensor not giving a signal. The speed sensor will need to be replaced. Contact LifeSpan for the next steps.

•        The running belt does not move at all: the motor control board is not working. The motor control board will need to be replaced. Contact LifeSpan for the next steps.
